Water Safety Conference: Uganda
The programme included presentations on a variety of water safety aspects from household water treatment technologies to the latest developments in water quality regulation. South African water safety developments were well profiled, with both Philip de Souza and Unathi Jack in attendance, and the following oral presentation contributions:

In addition, Philip also chaired the Pre-Conference Workshop entitled “Utilities and their Assets: Making Investments Work for Safe Drinking Water” and was the chair for the “Water Safety Risk Assessment” session.
