World Water Monitoring Day – Stellenbosch Schools

Emanti Management, together with Stellenbosch Municipality, has been organizing WWMD events in the greater Stellenbosch area, already reaching more than a 1000 scholars, creating awareness around the importance of water quality and environmental protection.

World Water Monitoring Day (WWMD) is officially celebrated on the 18th of September 2010 (although one is free to participate anytime between 22nd March and 31st December. Emanti Management, together with Stellenbosch Municipality, has been organizing WWMD events in the greater Stellenbosch Area. We have already been to 4 schools and in the process have made close to 1,000 scholars aware of the importance of water quality and environmental protection, and have done associated water quality testing using test kits with more than 250 scholars.
